Below the Undercroft (Solo)

I write this fae me bed.
Gabriel, spry now, after a bit o' rest insisted that we return and try tae route oot mare o' the bandits and brigands infesting the area below the undercroft.
Denby and Rockmound were still recovering from they's ain injuries so it was me, Gabriel, Breccia, wee Caedwilla and slight Lilliaquil with her manservant Barris.
Once below, the giant vermin reared their heeds once in a while but quickly clicked away, uninterested in uz.
Then we came across a wee group o' hobgoblins holed up in a room. They were friendly at start and were thinkin' we were members o' the bandit group wham they be in league. Seems the orcs we tussed wi' a while ago, them that kept Denby and Rockmound hostage, are interlopers in the area and the hobs was lookin' to track 'em down. I was gain' tae tell 'em aboot the group we tangled with, you know, enemy o' yer enemy sort of thing, when Gabriel came in all high and mighty, sayin' they should throw doon arms or we be takin them by force. Turns out a couple understood common tongue an' we go tae fightin'. I dinnae remember much mare than that as a hob morning star almost dashed me brains in. Gabe, Breccia and Caedwilla cleaned up all but one o' 'em as it fled free and clear. I was tae injured tae gae after this un like I did the last time we faced fleeing hobs. At any rate, with Breccia's help I was soon back on me feet... wobbly as a square stoon on an ogre's heed, but able to walk naentheless. We made it back to the village quickly despite having tae half drag me tae me bed.
That Gabriel might be the end o' us if he doesnae start usin' his heed and I told him as much. Drove the point hame afore they laid me tae bed. The lad was sheepish after that, but hopefully it will sink in. The adventuring life isnae fer the foolish.
